About This Episode
Concerned about memory and brain health for yourself or a loved one? This UsAgainstAlzheimer’s BrainStorm webinar focuses on our new BrainGuide™, a powerful free platform that empowers people from all communities to find their way to helpful resources that provide a path forward in their brain health journey..
In this episode of BrainStorm, you will hear about the successful launch of BrainGuide … a first-of-its kind platform supporting those proactively working to improve brain health, concerned about memory, seeking more information after receiving a diagnosis, or caring for a loved one living with Alzheimer’s.
Russ Paulsen, UsAgainstAlzheimer’s Chief Operating Officer, and Brooks Kenny, General Manager of BrainGuide, discuss the development and management of the platform in their fight against Alzheimer’s. You’ll learn about the development of BrainGuide in collaboration with Amazon Web Services.
Dr. Philip Gorelick, Adjunct Professor of Neurology at the Feinberg School of Medicine Northwestern University, and Neurologist at Northwestern Medical Group, explains how BrainGuide starts an important doctor patient conversation about brain health.
April is Minority Health Month, and Marsha Henderson, former Associate Commissioner for Women’s Health at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, speaks about how BrainGuide addresses health equity and removes barriers because it is free to all communities.
BrainGuide, which is available in English and Spanish, provides automated, confidential memory questionnaires that can be self-administered or taken as a caregiver. When the questionnaire is complete, BrainGuide offers tailored resources based on the answers provided.
