Washington, DC (December 21, 2023) -- UsAgainstAlzheimer’s chair and co-founder George Vradenburg issued the following statement in response to the announcement by Rep. Anna Eshoo that she will not be seeking re-election:
“The Alzheimer’s community couldn’t ask for a better champion than Congresswoman Eshoo. From securing hundreds of millions of dollars for Alzheimer’s research, to helping create ARPA-H, to fighting for Medicare coverage of Alzheimer’s drugs, Congresswoman Eshoo has been a powerful and dedicated advocate for our cause. On behalf of the more than six million Americans living with Alzheimer’s and their loved ones, I want to express my deepest gratitude for everything she has done to help people who have been impacted by Alzheimer’s and for her support of our work to end this devastating disease.”
